For the new subsidiary in Munich, we are looking to hire a Head of Functional Safety (all genders) on a permanent basis.
YOUR Responsibilities
You will be in charge of setting up this business area in regard to ISO 26262 and other common safety standards. Your main objective is to define and implement functional safety concepts, collaborate cross-functionally with domain experts to ensure delivery of the company’s goals and targets.
- Perform hazard analysis, define Safety Goals and identify assumptions of use when needed.
- Moderate safety analyses, such as FMEA and FTA
- Perform confirmation reviews and support verification reviews to ensure the ISO 26262 Functional Safety standards.
- Define Safety Validation specifications and reports.
- Contribute to Functional Safety audits and assessments.
- Support the implementation of the Functional Safety process at the organization (creation and or optimization of templates, guidelines, checklists)
- Interface with the customers and suppliers for Functional Safety.
YOUR PROFILE
- Engineering degree in Electronics & Communications / Automotive Electronics / Computer Science /Embedded Systems or related discipline
- profound knowledge and experience working and implementing ISO 26262 standard work products
- Experience with Automotive-SPICE
- Proven experience in an automotive environment (OEM / Tier Supplier or Engineering Service Provider)
- A good understanding of Automotive Systems
- Experience with other relevant standards including ISO 9001
- Willingness to international travel in some occasions
